Two Wanted Rolla men arrested in West Plains

West Plains, MO. – Two wanted men from Rolla were arrested after attempting to flee from authorities in West Plains. A deputy with the Howell County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop a vehicle near the intersection of US 63 and State Route K in West Plains near midnight on April 22, 2023, when the driver fled from the stop. The men were detained after stopping on Halstead Street.

The driver, Randy S. Carroll of Rolla was taken into custody. Carroll was transported to the Howell County Adult Detention Center where he was placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Revoked, and Resisting Arrest – Felony. Carroll was also arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant out of Maries County.

David Floyd

David A. Floyd of Rolla, a passenger in the vehicle, was arrested on active arrest warrants out of Christian County, Platte County, and Phelps County.

On Monday, an arrest warrant was issued for Carroll on the charges of Resisting Arrest – Felony, Driving While Intoxicated, and Driving While Revoked. Carroll is being held on $25,000 bond.
