Two West Plains women injured in Saturday morning crash

West Plains, Mo. – Two West Plains women were injured in a two-vehicle crash on K Highway Saturday Morning. The accident occurred at 9:45 a.m. Nov. 6, eight miles west of West Plains on K Highway.

An eastbound 2014 Toyota Rav 4 driven by Kathryn Corbin, 77 of Pottersville, crossed the center line and struck a 2012 Honda CRV driven by Brenda Standefer, 67 of West Plains. Both vehicles suffered extensive damage in the accident.

Standefer and her passenger, Mary Simons, 69 of West Plains, suffered minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment. Corbin was not injured according to the crash report. 

This accident was investigated by Trooper A. Falterman of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop G.
