U.S. Flag presented to W.P.H.S

A United States Flag has been presented to the West Plains High School on behalf of Major Christopher Anderson, a 1998 Zizzer graduate, and all Zizzer Veterans.

The flag was flown over Operations Base Fenty at Jalalabad Airfield, Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan, on December 25, 2019, while conducting operations in support of Operations Resolute Support and Freedom’s Sentinel.

At the request of Major Anderson, former high school principal Ron Estes presented the flag to current principal Dr. Jack Randolph and student council president Nate Bramwell.

Major Anderson is currently stationed in Afghanistan. The flag is set to be displayed in the high school as a reminder of all Zizzer graduates who have served our nation through the past, present, and future.
