Public Safety Notice

Thomasville slab crossings over the Middle Fork River have been the site of an incident involving an unidentified substance being released into the water. Until this material is fully identified, I am asking all citizens to stay out of the river at the slab as a precautionary measure. At this time, both Oregon County Emergency Management and I believe the substance may be pond dye but confirmation is still needed. Testing and verification are underway. Further updates will be provided as soon as results are available.
