[WEST PLAINS, MO] – The Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) will present two free workshops in July. They include Smart Start: Developing a Successful Business and An Introduction to Government Small Business Certifications.
Smart Start: Developing a Successful Business is a free course offered monthly at OzSBI that helps entrepreneurs and small business owners learn the first steps of starting a small business and how to pave the way for success. Attendees will gain an understanding of legal structures, necessary business licenses and registrations, and financing. This workshop is facilitated by OzSBI CEO Heather Fisher and OzSBI CFO Ila Sloan.
The government is the biggest customer in the United States, spending $1,214,000,000 per day. If you are interested in selling to the government, join MO Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) Specialist Willis Mushrush for An Introduction to Government Small Business Certifications to learn about the various federal small business certification programs in the government marketplace, such as Woman-Owned Small Business and Veteran-Owned Small Business. Mushrush also will discuss state and local certification programs and provide information on additional training and resources available to help with you navigate federal, state, and local certification programs.
