Doniphan, MO. – In celebration of National Fishing and Boating Week, the Eleven Point Ranger District announced that they will be hosting a Youth Fishing Day in June.
This youth fishing day will include youths ages 2 to 15, with fishing licenses not being required during the event. However, size and daily limits will still apply. It will happen June 6th and 7th. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

In addition, the Ripley County Fire Department and Doniphan Police Department will be present to provide lunch to those who attend.
This event aims to promote and intriduce kids to fishing, and the use of public land.
A rain date for the event has been planned for June 13th.
