According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a Van Buren man died from injuries sustained in a Saturday night crash in Carter County
46-year-old Jason Komrska, of Van Buren, was traveling westbound on Route C near Eastwood when his vehicle ran off the road and struck a tree. The accident happened at 8:30 p.m.

Komrska was transported to a St. Louis hospital, where he was pronounced dead Sunday morning.
This is the 11th fatality in Troop G this year, compared to 6 at this time a year ago.
