Salem, MO. – Tuesday afternoon a crash occurred on Highway 19 near Salem, MO., and ended with the totaling of the vehicle, and the injury of the driver.
Salem driver Jonathan Smith, a 37-year-old male, was traveling Southbound in a Dodge Durango when he traveled off the right side of the roadway at roughly 2:15 pm. The Durango then struck a culvert and overturned.

Smith was wearing his safety device and suffered moderate injuries in the crash, but the vehicle was totaled. Smith was transported to Salem Memorial Hospital for treatment.
