(West Plains) Missouri State University-West Plains Grizzly Basketball is preparing for a new season under first-year head coach Dillon Hargrove.
Hargrove joined the Grizzlies earlier this year as the sixth head coach in program history, bringing a successful junior college coaching background to West Plains. Before taking over the Grizzly program, Hargrove coached at McCook Community College and previously led National Park College in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to the 2024 NJCAA Division II National Championship.
In the latest Grizzly Update, presented by Don’s Auto Service, Hargrove discusses the program as the Grizzlies continue preparing for the upcoming basketball season.
Hargrove has emphasized player development, academics and community involvement since taking the position, while working to build on the long basketball tradition at Missouri State-West Plains.
