Each year PLTW honors outstanding teachers and administrators across the network who play an immeasurable role to prepare students to thrive in college, careers and beyond. Fleming teaches 9th through 12th grade students in a variety of PLTW courses including Medical Detectives, Principles of Biomedical Science, Human Body Systems, Medical Interventions, Biomedical Innovations, and Anatomy & Physiology.

“We are proud of Mr. Fleming and his dedication to our students. Mr. Fleming is a major influencer of the PLTW growth in our schools,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Wesley Davis. “He is inspiring, and we are honored to have him as a teacher. We are proud of the PLTW programs the district offers our students and the opportunity for exploration. Our students can imagine, be creative and work as a team daily.

“PLTW educators do incredible work facilitating learning experiences that help inspire and prepare students to reach their full potential. This award acknowledges and recognizes their accomplishments in continuing that mission,” stated Dr. David Dimmett, PLTW Interim President and CEO. “We congratulate them and are proud of the work these educational leaders do to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for success beyond the classroom, no matter what career path they choose.”
