West Plains, MO. – The City of West Plains has recently announced that someone new will be taking up the title of City Clerk.
This announcement happened on Tuesday, March 19th, and the decision was originally made during the City Council’s last closed session the previous day, March 18th.

The person taking the role of City Clerk is Kellie Mayers, effective immediately. Mayers is a West Plains native and has previous experience serving as an HR Specialist with the City.
Mayers also has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Management from MSU, and has recently been accepted into the West Plains Chamber of Commerce’s LEAD Program.
