West Plains, MO. – It’s festival season, and also art season in the Ozarks. Terry Hampton with the West Plains Arts Alliance gives us the lowdown of this weeks arts updates, including West Plains Council on the Arts events, and various displays around town.
The West Plains Council on the Arts is holding a Folk Art Workshop with a Harvest theme to be held on Oct. 13th, and a Deck the Halls exhibit for the holiday season. The deadline for entries in the exhibit is Oct. 15th.

In addition, various art displays are currently up throughout town. Locations include the Harlin Museum, the Mezzanine at the Civic Center, both floors at the Ozarks Small Business Incubator, and the completed mural on the square.
