West Plains, MO. – May has begun and despite being in a quieter time of the year with graduations and some festivals ramping up, don’t forget there are still local arts events taking place. Terry Hampton gives us this week’s update:
The Ozarks Artery Plants & Pollinators Art Show can be seen at the Yellow House on Wednesday from 11 am to 3 pm, including a “Discover Missouri Pollinators” presentation by the MDC at 1:30 pm.
Auditions will be taking place at the Garnett Library this Friday from 5 pm to 7 pm and Saturday, from 10 am to 12 pm. This is for an upcoming melodrama to take place at the Avenue Theatre in June.
Lastly, Terry reminds us that the Polly the Parrot dedication ceremony for the cemetery marker will be taking place at Oak Lawn Cemetery on May 9th at 10am. More can be read on this topic by clicking here.
