West Plains, MO. – Terry Hampton, our resident representative for the West Plains Arts Alliance, gives us her West Plains Art Update for the 2nd week of September. This weeks activities showcases showings at the Avenue Theatre, located just off the square in West Plains, MO.
The two shows spoken of this week include the currently running “Sherwood” production, a retelling of the classic Robin Hood formula, starting this Friday. The second is the upcoming October production of “The Beverly Hillbillies”. Adapted from the original 60’s comedic television show, this stage play will follow the titular Hillbillies navigating the differences between the life they know, and the life they’ve moved to.
