West Plains, MO. – Even if you’re minded on food and sales coming up this Thursday and Friday, don’t forget that there are still art events happening. Terry Hampton delivers to us this pre-Thanksgiving update on arts-based activities within the West Plains area.
The Deck the Halls Art Exhibit is currently available for viewing at the West Plains Civic Center, and at the West Plains Public Library, art from well-known local artist Garrett Melby is on display, along with decorated trees, as a part of a fundraising effort. This Christmas tree fund-raiser involves individuals viewing each tree and voting for their favorite with library staff.
You can view both of these during regular library hours, but keep in mind that the library will be closed on Thanksgiving Day!
