West Plains, MO. – The West Plains Chamber of Commerce held it’s annual awards ceremony last night on January 20th, 2020. Several awards were given out to outstanding businesses within West Plains that went further to distinguish themselves.

Special Chairman’s Award – Melissa Wharton & the Ozarks Small Business Incubator
Citizen of the Year – Ozarks Healthcare
Honorary Member For Life – Joanne White
Humanitarian of the Year – Carol Silvey
Educator of the Year – GOCAT Facility Team
Civic Organization of the Year – Howell County Health Department
Lifetime Achievement Award – Judy Ingalsbe
Volunteer of the Year – Ryan Cundall & Angie Menz
Chamber Business of the Year – BURO
Serving on the 2021 Board of Directors were: Ryan Cundall, Dave Thomas, Shealia Harper, Jeff Welch, David Harris, Eric Gibson, Tom Keller, Joe Kammerer, Angie Menz, Linda Carter, Judy Ogden, Marcus Lipford, John Plummer, Crystal Cook, Dr. Dennis Lancaster, Lana Snodgras, and Joann Strosnider

The West Plains Chamber of Commerce began over 100 years ago, but have been helping businesses within West Plains operate and thrive.
In addition, the Community Foundation West Plains awarded grants to specific non-profit organizations through public donations made to the Great Endowment Fund. This year, they had four grant recipients totaling $6,850 in total outreach.
