West Plains, MO. – The West Plains Chamber of Commerce held their annual banquet and awards ceremony on the evening of Thursday, January 19th of 2022.
The evening started with many people in attendance with a catered food table and drinks from Colton’s Steakhouse & Grill. In the awards presentation, 8 individuals and 2 organizations acquired recognition.
Bryan Adcock earned the Volunteer of the Year award.
The Lifetime Achievement award was given to School Board member Jimmy Thompson.
Humanitarian of the Year was Robin Morgan, President of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.
Honorary Member for Life awards were given to two individuals this year, Jack and Inez Pahlman for their long service to the Chamber and West Plains.
Educator of the Year was awarded to Barbara Caton, a 30-year educator.
The Customer Service award was given to Bartlett Moving & Storage.
John Harris won the City Beautification Award for his various projects and renovations.
The Citizen of the Year was award to Paula Speraneo, for her efforts in multiple organizations in West Plains.
The Chamber Business of the Year award went to Ozarks Healthcare.
