West Plains, MO. – It appears that in the City of West Plains, plans are moving ahead for another Dollar General location, with the proposed spot being on 160.
This information comes from the agenda for a special City Council meeting scheduled for Monday, September 30th. When reviewing information on the project document, this new Dollar General will be a 10,640 square foot facility, between Lincoln and Jefferson Avenues, utilizing the empty lot there.
In addition to the review of the site plan, two bills are set to become ordinance. One of these authorizes participation in a Missouri highway safety program through MoDOT, and the other will be terminating a previously established Tax Increment Financing(TIF) plan.
This meeting will take place at the City Council Chambers at 5pm.
