West Plains City Council Discusses Utility Rate Increase

The West Plains City Council gives first reading a utility hike. Electric would increase 7%, water 3%, sewer 4% and sanitation 3%.
The rate increases would take effect in 2025. The council also approved the termination of one TIF district, along with the continuation of an existing TIF district for the fiscal year, beginning January 1.
