West Plains City Officials Warn of Scam

West Plains, MO. – The holiday season is the most common season for scams. As we finish up the year, we will likely see a variety of different scams reemerging everywhere, including in our corner of the Ozarks.

City of West Plains officials have notified the public that a phone scam has been making the rounds in the area. This scam includes the scammer posing as a utility company employee and threatening to shut off their power if bills are not paid.
