The West Plains Civic Center pool is scheduled to reopen Monday, August 21.
The pool was closed to the public earlier this summer so crews could sandblast and resurface the pool floor. Additional pump and valve maintenance was done, and a fresh coat of paint was applied to the walls.
“The Civic Center staff put in a lot of time and effort on this project, and we think our customers will be happy with the final product,” said Civic Center Manager Eryn Walters. “We also want to thank our community partners and the West Plains community for their patience and support during this process. We can’t wait to have everyone back in the pool.”
Pool hours are as follows:
Monday through Friday Lap Swim: 6 a.m. – 9 a.m.
Monday, Wednesday Friday Open Swim: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday Open Swim: 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday, Sunday Open Swim: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
