West Plains, MO. – A local company has been awarded over $20 million in resurfacing contracts from the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission.
The M.H.T.C. awarded the two contracts to Pace Construction Company of West Plains for resurfacing projects in Ozark, Howell, Oregon, and Texas counties during its regular meeting on January 4, 2023.
There were four contracts awarded during the meeting:
• A $5,325,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company, for resurfacing the following routes in Ozark County:
o Route 5 from Route 160 to the Arkansas State line, including the addition of rumble stripes,
o Route T from County Road 527 to County Road 512, and;
o Route 181 from Route H to Route 160.
• A $15,225,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company, for resurfacing the following routes:
o Route 60 from Route 63 south to Route 63 north in Howell and Texas counties, and;
o Route 63 from Business 63 to Route F south of West Plains, Missouri in Howell and Oregon counties.
• A $1,995,966 contract was awarded to STF, LLC, for striping on the following routes:
o Route 60 from the Webster County line to Interstate 55,
o Route 67 from the Jefferson County line to Route 160, and;
o Route 63 from Route 60 to Route 14.
• A $147,653 contract was awarded to Putz Construction, LLC, for pavement improvements on Route 61 near Route M in Perry County.
In total, Pace Construction Company was awarded $20,550,000 in contracts.
