Alton, MO. – Yesterday, February 14th, a West Plains driver was reported as injured in an accident on Highway 160, halfway between Alton and Doniphan.
Franklin Evins, 57 of West Plains, was driving a 2000 Chevy S10 Eastbound on 160. At roughly 6:24pm, four miles East of Riverton, Evins was reported as having driven off the left side of the roadway. He then struck a tree and an embankment.

Evins was wearing a safety device, and suffered moderate injuries as a result of the crash. The Chevy S10 was totaled in the accident, and Evins was transported by the Oregon County Ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional for treatment.
This accident was investigated by Trooper K.L. Hogan of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
