The West Plains Fire Department was dispatched to the Walgreens in West Plains on Friday night after reports of an unusual odor inside the store.
Upon investigation, firefighters discovered that an overheating refrigerator was the source of the smell. Once the appliance was unplugged, the situation was resolved, and the store was deemed safe to reopen.
