WEST PLAINS, Mo. — The West Plains Fire Department recently held their end-of-the-year Christmas party and recognized a few employees for their work in 2019.
Dale Smith was recognized as Top Responder Firefighter, Drew Findley recognized as Top Responder Engineer and Wayne Cormier as Firefighter of the Year.

Smith has been a paid-on-call firefighter for West Plains since 1968. Findley has been a fire engineer since July 2017 and was recognized as Top Responder Engineer due to the number of calls responded to. Cormier has been with the department since 2000 and his title most recently is Lieutenant.
