West Plains Man Arrested After Endangering A Child During A High Speed Pursuit and Drug Bust

West Plains, MO. – A West Plains man was arrested following a high-speed pursuit and a drug bust. Andrey Bandurovskiy is being booked on outstanding warrants and is being charged with resisting arrest, assault, child endangerment, violation of an order of protection, and possession of a controlled substance.

According to a release from the Howell County Sheriff’s Office, on August 29, 2024, Howell County Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on State Route 14. The vehicle was being driven by Andrey Bandurovskiy, who is a wanted person in Howell County. Bandurovskiy failed to stop his vehicle, which resulted in a vehicle pursuit. The vehicle then left the roadway and attempted to flee down a highline.

Bandurovskiy then stopped his vehicle and attempted to flee on foot. Deputies gave chase and took Bandurovskiy into custody. There was a female passenger in the vehicle who also had a 1-year-old child in the back seat of the vehicle during the pursuit. The deputies searched the vehicle during the arrest and found methamphetamine. 

Bandurovskiy was held on a 24-hour hold and subsequently given a summons to appear by the court and was then released from custody.
