West Plains, MO. – A West Plains man was arrested last weekend after assaulting his pregnant caretaker.
West Plains Police made contact with the woman on the morning of August 27, 2023, who told authorities that the man she looks after, Trampas Reynolds, had assaulted her after he was “acting out” during the early morning hours. She stated that he had pulled out his penis and fondled himself in front of her and she went into her office to escape him. She continued that later that morning, Reynolds began to yell at her and punched her twice in the back of the head. She then attempted to flee the house to her vehicle when Reynolds pushed the pregnant woman down the stairs of the front porch.
Trampas Reynolds was arrested for 4th-degree assault and 1st-degree sexual misconduct and was being held on a $10,000 bond. He has pled not guilty to the charges before the Howell County Court.
Reynolds has similar charges from an incident in May 2022 where he is charged with two counts of 3rd-degree assault, one count of 4th-degree assault, and 2nd-degree property damage.
