West Plains, MO. – A West Plains man has been charged for drugs and stealing a vehicle last week.
On June 11, 2023, shortly after 10 a.m., West Plains Police officers made contact with Russell Killion. According to the probable cause statement, Killion was in possession of a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Ozark County.
After further investigation, it was found several VIN numbers on the vehicle had been tampered with or removed. Inside the vehicle, officers found two grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
The suspect was charged with stealing a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance.
Killion was held on the charges and released on a $10,000 surety bond.
