According to Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), a West Plains man died in a Thursday afternoon crash in Texas County.
47-year-old Randy Brooks was driving southbound on US 63 when his vehicle struck a northbound vehicle driven by 25-year-old Michael Lee of Raymondville.

According to the MSHP report, Lee received minor injuries and was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital (TCMH) for treatment.
Brooks was also transported to TCMH where was later pronounced dead.
The accident happened at 1 p.m., five miles south of Houston.
