A 21-year-old West Plains man was injured in a one-vehicle traffic accident. The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells Ozark Radio News that the man’s vehicle ran off the right side of Highway 17, south of West Plains, then struck a fence before returning to the roadway, running off the left side of the road, striking an embankment and overturning. The man was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment.
