West Plains, MO. – A man from West Plains was recently inflicted with serious injuries after being involved in an accident on a county road.
This event happened on Friday, February 9th on County Road 7070 near West Plains at roughly 4:40pm. Daniel Wright, a 64-year-old man from West Plains, was operating a Honda ATV when he overturned the vehicle, which then came to rest atop him.

Wright was inflicted with serious injuries, and air ambulance services were called to transport him to Cox South in Springfield for emergency care.
Troopers Pruiett and Falterman, and Master Sergeant Meyer from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G were present for investigation.
