A West Plains man is facing charges after police say he resisted officers during a DWI arrest. According to Patrol Officer Joseph Tombley, he stopped Dillon Luck on September 13 after seeing him change lanes without signaling. Luck showed signs of intoxication and performed poorly on field sobriety tests before providing a breath sample of 0.129% BAC.
While in custody, officers say Luck repeatedly refused commands and physically struggled with them, grabbing Officer Tombley and causing scratches that punctured the skin. Police say he later obstructed a jail camera and again resisted when officers entered the cell, injuring another officer. Luck is charged with DWI and fourth‑degree assault on a special victim.
