West Plains – A West Plains man was seriously injured after wrecking his motorcycle on Sunday night.
The crash occurred 3 miles north of West Plains on BB Highway at 10:20PM on June 20, 2021, when the 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Kyle Stone, 32 of West Plains skidded off the roadway and overturned. Stone was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained serious injuries. Stone was not wearing a safety device. He was flown to Cox South in Springfield, Missouri by Air Evac.

Corporal J. Howell with the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the incident and was assisted by Master Sargent Rees, Trooper Pond, and the Howell County Rural Fire Department.
