West Plains Mayor Mike Topliff Declares May 5th as National Day of Prayer for West Plains

West Plains, MO. – West Plains Mayor Mike Topliff signed a proclamation today declaring Thursday, May 5, as the National Day of Prayer for West Plains. A committee representing several community churches has planned a prayer event for 12 noon on May 5 at the pavilion area of People’s Park.

The areas of prayer focus will be: Government (national, international, state, and local), church and family, education, business, medical, military, and the media. The community is invited to participate in this annual national event.
