The West Plains Model Railroad Club’s Holiday Model Train Display is back at the West Plains Opera House’s second floor Ballroom. The event will be open Thursdays through Sundays through December 27 with hours of 2 – 6 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and 12 – 6PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Starting December 21 and running to the 27th, excluding Christmas Day, the display will be open every day from 12 – 6PM.
Countless additions including carnival rides and flying rockets to the Club’s HO, S and O gauge model railroads will require multiple visits to admire. In addition to the display, hundreds of train related items will be for sale by the Club and its members.
While this event is free, donations to the West Plains Model Railroad Club are both encouraged and appreciated. To access the display, free parking is available behind the building and visitors are asked to enter the building from the front entrance and either take the stairs or elevator to the second level.
