West Plains, MO. – Early yesterday morning, October 17th of 2023, the West Plains Police Department deployed to respond to an alarm activating on Porter Wagoner Boulevard.
On arrival, a male suspect fled and was taken into custody not long after. The suspect, identified as Taylor Wilcox, 31 of West Plains, was taken into custody on arrest charges including burglary and resisting arrest.
In addition to this arrest, Wilcox was linked to several other burglaries around West Plains as various items were recovered from his residence. Wilcox was additionally identified as the subject in a recent call for community assistance in another burglary case.
Wilcox was currently on probation and parole for burglary and stealing charges, and is expected to face more now.
