West Plains, MO. – The West Plains Police Department has issued an official press release on the fatal crash that took place yesterday around noon on Highway 63 near Quarry Road.
The official statement says that the two involved vehicles were a passenger car and a commercial vehicle. The driver of the listed passenger car, identified as 46-year-old Stephanie Mellot, was pronounced deceased on-scene.

Because of the crash that took place, traffic was blocked in that area for roughly two hours while work crews cleaned up the aftermath.
This case is still under investigation.
