Investigators with the West Plains Police Department, Howell County Sheriff’s Office, the South Central Drug Task Force and Missouri Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate a double homicide. The incident occurred Tuesday Evening between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM in the area of County Road 4000 west of West Plains.
A male and female victim were located in a red passenger car deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. The female is identified as Frankie L. Ziegler a 28 year old female from Mountain View, MO. The male victim is identified as Richard L. Kuntz, a 30 year old male from West Plains. Next of kin have been notified for both victims.
