West Plains Public Library Hosts Special Storytelling Event Today

The West Plains Public Library is set to host a special storytelling event today, featuring retired educator and traditional Ozarks storyteller, Mrs. Danette House. The program, titled “West Plains… From the Beginning,” will transport attendees through the town’s rich history, covering significant events and key figures from the era of the Osage people to the mid-1900s.

Mrs. House will bring history to life through her engaging storytelling, accompanied by a captivating slideshow presentation. Guests will have the opportunity to gain a deeper appreciation for the heritage of West Plains and the individuals who helped shape the community.
