According to Doctor Greg Carter, the Manager of the West Plains Public Library, there is plenty to get excited about with this new connection. Patrons of the library will be able to have better access to materials, expanding from 75,000 items to 4.3 million items. As an example, Carter stated that patrons will be able to request specific books they may have seen on store shelves, and have it delivered within a couple days through Evergreen.

Missouri Evergreen is planned to be fully live for the West Plains Public Library on March 28th.
