West Plains Resident Injured in Ozark County Crash

Tecumseh, MO. – A West Plains man has been injured after rear-ending another vehicle on US Highway 160 at 7:30am on the morning of April 11th.

Daniel Boatwright was the 19-year-old Pottersville driver of a Chevy Silverado that was travelling Westbound. Boatwright had slowed in an attempt to make a left turn 2 miles East of Tecumseh, when his vehicle was struck in the backside by a Buick Lacrosse.

The Buick was driven by driver from West Plains, Brandon Clapp, 24. The Silverado was extensively damaged, but the Buick was totaled. Clapp was not wearing a safety device and received moderate injuries in the accident. He was transported to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.

The investigator of this crash was Corporal N.J. Britt of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
