West Plains Sunrise Rotary Club Donates to Suicide Prevention Event

West Plains, MO. – Officials with the West Plains Sunrise Rotary Club have announced a $500 donation to the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation. The donation will support Ozarks Healthcare’s upcoming event “Be Here Tomorrow: A Suicide Prevention Event” featuring Kevin Hines.

This free event will take place on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at the West Plains Civic Center Theater Room. Community members will hear the story of Kevin Hines, Golden Gate Bridge suicide attempt survivor, as he shares his story of hope, healing, and recovery.

Jack Bates, Sunrise Rotary Club President, said, “we are really looking forward to hearing Kevin’s story. We appreciate Ozarks Healthcare Behavioral Health Center for putting together this event, and we hope that community members will take advantage of this free opportunity to learn more about suicide prevention.”
