West Plains, MO. – A West Plains teen is recovering after falling out of a SUV on Sunday night. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred at 9:35 p.m. on County Road 1540, one and a half miles east of West Plains.
A 17-year old male fell out of a 1999 Dodge Durango and was struck by the vehicle as it was headed east. The driver was a 16-year old female, who was uninjured from the situation.

The injured teen was transported by South Howell County Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment of moderate injuries.
