West Plains, Mo. – Due to the extremely hazardous road conditions and the possibility of more freezing rain this afternoon, the West Plains City Hall, Civic Center, Public Library, Jimmy Carol Sports Complex, Welcome Center, and Transit Bus Service will all be closed for today, Thursday, February 24.
Additionally, residential trash and recycling normally scheduled for today will be picked up tomorrow, Friday, February 25. All commercial routes will still be picked up as scheduled. The Transfer Station will be open from 9 am to 4 pm but is not taking recyclables today.
