West Plains, Willow Springs City Wide Yard Sales This Week

Howell County, MO. – This week, on the 17th, 18th, and 19th, both West Plains and Willow Springs will be holding their City Wide Yard Sales. This means yard sale fees will be waived during this period, giving those looking for a deal a great many chances to find a bargain.

Keep in mind as well, that following the yard sales, clean up week will be taking place. The City of West Plains issued this official address below when addressing that coming event.

Priority Pet Care – Make An Appointment


The Spring Cleanup occurs when the city picks up additional items for free as a part of their weekly trash routes. This includes regular trash, wrapped furniture, yard waste, and certain appliances. However, some items will not be accepted, such as hazardous waste, rennovation debris, or uncontained broken glass. A full list from the City will be posted below.

Regular Trash – Extra bagged or boxed waste
 
Large Items – Furniture, mattresses (must be wrapped!)
 
Metals & Appliances – Washers, dryers, stoves (Fridges/freezers must have a certified Freon removal sticker!)
 
Yard Waste – Bagged leaves & grass (No curbside brush pickup—take it to the Transfer Station at 1851 Old Airport Road; fee waived this week only!)
 
Recyclables – Place in or near your red recycle bin
 
Bonus: Earth Day falls during Cleanup Week on April 22! This is a great time to show some extra love to our planet—reduce, reuse, and recycle!

Need tires picked up? Call 255-2330 to schedule. Fees apply ($6.43 per passenger tire, $10.71 per tire on a rim).
 
Not Accepted: Hazardous waste, major renovation debris, or piles on trailers/trucks. Box & label broken glass for safety.
