West Plains Woman Arrested on Multiple Drug Trafficking Charges

West Plains, MO. – A woman from West Plains was arrested last month for multiple drug trafficking charges.

According to the probable cause affidavit on the case, this arrest took place on January 23rd, as members of the West Plains Police Department served a search warrant at a residence on Allen Street. During the search, multiple bags filled with suspected methamphetamine, methadone, Nartec, narcotics, and a large amount of suspected fentanyl in pill form were seized.

Carrie Lynne McFarland, 63 of West Plains was taken into custody on two Felony charges of 2nd Degree Drug Trafficking, and one felony charge of Keeping or Maintaining a Public Nuisance.

McFarland’s arraignment is scheduled for March 18th of this year.
