West Plains, MO. – A West Plains woman and child were injured in a one vehicle crash Tuesday morning on Highway K. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred two miles west of West Plains at 7:25 a.m.
A pickup driven by a 16-year old juvenile pulled into the path of a westbound 2010 Kia Forte driven by Keirsten Little, age 24 of West Plains, causing the Kia to travel off the right side of the roadway and overturn.
Little and her 4-year old daughter suffered moderate injuries in the crash and were taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.
The teen driver was cited following the crash.
