A West Plains woman was injured early Thursday after her pickup left the roadway and crashed along U.S. 63 at Forest Street in Koshkonong.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 6:15 a.m. when a southbound 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 traveled off the right side of the highway, struck an embankment, became airborne and hit a tree. The truck was totaled and removed by Hughes Towing at the request of the trooper.

The driver, a 41‑year‑old woman from West Plains, was not wearing a seat belt and suffered moderate injuries. She was transported by EMS to Ozarks Healthcare.
