West Plains, MO. – A woman from West Plains was hospitalized after a crash that totaled the truck she was driving.
The vehicle in this accident was a Chevy Silverado. Operating it was Megan Brandes, a 21-year-old resident of West Plains. According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Brandes failed to stop at the intersection of County Roads 8230 and 8620, and ran off the road, causing her to strike the embankment.

Brandes was not wearing a safety device, and she was inflicted with moderate injuries in the accident. She was transported by ground ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment.
