THAYER, Mo. — A wild game dinner to benefit an area domestic violence shelter will be held this Saturday, November 16.
The dinner will be held at 6 pm Saturday, November 16 at the Thayer Fun and Friends Senior Center at the corner of Front St. and Chestnut.

The event will include the dinner, a silent auction, and live singing from the Howell Family. Food will include venison and deer chili, alligator, grouse, pheasant, and bear. The event will also include barbecue pork, a fish fry, and some sides. Attendees are asked to bring a side dish or desserts.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Selah Place, a haven for women and children who are victims of domestic violence.
